TOKYO NIGHTS

For Shelton Taylor’s song "Tokyo Nights," I was tasked to design a custom logo for promotional videos leading up to the music video release.

The aim was to capture the essence of the 80s synthwave movement while giving it a contemporary twist. Drawing inspiration from artists like Daft Punk and The Weeknd, I crafted a bold and memorable logo that embodies an 80s vibe while keeping it modern. The design features cool, desaturated colors for the 3D typography of "Nights," paired with a striking 2D red font for "Tokyo." In post-production, I applied treatments to give it a gritty, nostalgic feel while maintaining high contrast, ensuring the logo stands out with a thick and bold presence.
